Festoon Cable System

Description:

A festoon system is actually a kind of power supply system of overhead cranes or gantry cranes. The main parts of the festoon system are the power cable and it's track. It is used to manage and support electrical cables or hoses on cranes and other moving industrial equipment. It ensures that cables are organized, protected, and able to move freely as the crane operates.

Key Components of Festoon System:

Trolleys (Cable Carriers) – Move along the track while holding the cables.
Tow Trolley – Connects to the moving equipment and pulls the trolleys along.
Clamps – Secure cables or hoses to the trolleys.
End Stops – Prevent trolleys from moving beyond the intended range.
Cables or Hoses – Provide power and control to the crane. Cable can be round cable or flat cable.
